    1. Good try, although there were some clear mistakes. I understand you won't know number 4, but I thought number 6 would be quite obvious!

    2. I got it, just another joke! Doctor Who being someone with pseudo-scientific theories, who works for UNIT (sometimes anyway), has female companions (mostly), and certainly solves paranormal cases.

    3. Yeah, that's the option b) - think about the Pertwee Doctor, who was stranded to Earth, worked exclusively for UNIT and tried to make his time machine work. But Pertwee Doctor wouldn't be known by a child of eighties living his/her teenage years in nineties, so picking that option shows you are way too old for this test.

Instead, in the nineties, there was a series with a guy with really weird theories, working in a secret service with a female companion, and solving paranormal cases. This is the series we are looking for.

There was also a similar series around 2008-2013, but picking that option would at once show you are way too young for this test.

Now, you'll just have to figure out whether the weird guy in the nineties series was trying to find his lost sister or whether he was always making strawberry milkshakes. Voltgloss has apparently solved this, since he knew another series with the same actor.
